Following on from the success of the Walk in Paris Videos I decided to head to Windsor and then London to create the next episode in the Walk with Lucy series.
We filmed in Windsor early and I mean early (6:30 am) it was a cold morning and at that time it was quiet, but all the preparations were starting to take place for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Weekend. Loads of bunting had been strung up all around Windsor and the flags were flying high and proud.
Every post box had beautifully knitted covers with everything from crowns to corgis.
Whilst walking and filming in the Great Park in Windsor, I met and fell in love with two super cute Pomeranian dogs named Roxy and Sally.
You will see both in the video and I am sure you will fall in love too. Funnily enough I posted a clip of them on my Instagram page and apparently these dogs are well known in Windsor as some of LucysSquad who live in the area recognized these gorgeous dogs straight away.
We filmed all around the Castle, then the Great Park and walked around the cobbled streets to then finish off filming some fun toning moves along the River Thames.
The following morning was another early start and this time myself, Hatti and my other niece Mimi jumped on the 6:30am train to Waterloo.
So again, we had an empty London and started off by the London Eye which is such a great iconic London attraction.
We had it to ourselves and a few pigeons. We then headed along the South Bank, filmed some toning moves and quickly rushed to The Mall as rain was on the forecast.
We managed to film some walking and also in connection with the Jubilee and the Queen Reigning for 70 years, we recorded me talking about 70 benefits we get from fitness!
This wasn’t easy but we managed it and both my nieces are very good at walking backwards fast as Hatti was filming and Mimi was holding the cue cards.
Once we had finished filming, we rushed for coffee in Covent Garden which was full of union jack flags.
We warmed up with our coffees and had the treat of meeting my sister for lunch and the extra treat as she then drove us all home. Luckily we just managed to miss all the rain as sure enough it then poured down all afternoon.
